MEDIA CONTACT Michelle Martinez Reyes, Director of Media Relations, OSCR 954.333.4357   |   OSCR@gmlaw.com www.oscr.biz Gerry Greenspoon Announces Launch of the Organization for Safe Cannabis Regulation (OSCR) in Florida Tallahassee, FL, February 1, 2016 – Gerry Greenspoon, a prominent Florida attorney who has been involved in efforts to legalize medical cannabis in Florida, today announces the launch of the Organization for Safe Cannabis Regulation (OSCR), a nonprofit Florida corporation formed to ensure that the mandate of the voters under Amendment 2 is carried out by the Florida Legislature and Department of Health. In cooperation with Florida for Care, OSCR will work to expand access to medical marijuana by creating a broad, well-regulated marketplace. To achieve that goal, OSCR will be advocating for laws that create independently “registered” entities that perform specific functions along the production and distribution chain.  Additionally, OSCR will advocate for the allowance of significantly more businesses to enter the marketplace.  The Chairman of OSCR is Gerry Greenspoon, Esq., the co-founder and managing partner of Greenspoon Marder.  Greenspoon Marder is an Am Law 200 and NLJ 350 law firm. Matthew Ginder, Esq., manages the day-to-day operations of OSCR.
